Amanda Renee King Finds a New Life
This story, by Mike Rizzo of SJSU's Spartan Daily newspaper describes trials, tribulations and eventual success of Amanda Renee King. Amanda (born Michael) spent her youth struggling to understand her relationship with her gender, eventually finding self-acceptance after conflicting encounters with the military and conservative religion.
